On October 19, 2026, students of the Arch-19ao group of the Department of Architecture and Construction, together with teacher S. M. Madieva and senior lecturer Zh. E. Nurulina, held an educational hour with students on the theme “Republic Day is a symbol of statehood” in honor of the Republic of Kazakhstan Day, celebrated on October 25.

The main purpose of the event was to foster patriotism, popularize national values, increase students’ interest in the history of Kazakhstan and strengthen youth civic responsibility.

During the educational hour, students got acquainted with the historical significance of Republic Day, discussed important stages in the formation of Kazakhstan’s sovereignty, the importance of state symbols, the value of independence and unity of the people. Special attention was paid to the role of youth in the development of the country and responsibility for its future.

The event helped strengthen the students’ civic position, the formation of national identity and the development of respect for their Homeland.
