On 19 October 2017 the XVI Republican Olympic Games took place in Karaganda Economic University of Kazpotrebsouz on economics «Third Modernization of Kazakhstan: Global Competitiveness». The Olympic Games were an extraordinary event and was directed to disclosure of students’ creative potential, future experts in the field of national economy and management in various fields of activity.

This year students of Sh. Ualikhanov Kokshetau State University, JSC Narxoz University, Karaganda Economic University of Kazpotrebsouz, Ye.A. Buketov Karaganda State University, K.I. Satpayev Ekibastuz technical institute, M. Tynyshpayev Kazakh academy of transport and communications, Taraz innovative humanities university and West Kazakhstan Innovation Technological University became participants of the Olympic Games.

West Kazakhstan Innovation Technological University students from the faculty of languages and management showed good results. According to the results of the republican Olympic Games the Leaders of the Future team won first place and became the owner of the Challenge cup of the Republican Olympic Games among economic specialties.

Estimation of the Olympic Games was the most objective and impartial; the results of the Olympic Games didn’t caused any negative reactions from other participating teams.
