From November 3 to 5, 2025, the West Kazakhstan Innovative-Technological University hosted a series of lectures delivered by foreign professors from the N.I. Vavilov Saratov State University of Genetics, Biotechnology and Engineering (Saratov, Russian Federation) within the framework of the academic mobility program.

For students of the Educational Program 6B07105 – “Automation and Control (by industries)”, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Sergey Mudarisovich Bakirov delivered lectures on the discipline “Electric Machines and Electric Drive.” The lectures covered modern methods of designing and controlling electric drives, features of electric machine calculations, and the application of intelligent technologies in industrial automation systems.

For students of the Educational Program 6B07102 – “Electric Power Engineering,” Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Sergey Vladimirovich Bakhteev conducted classes on the discipline “Transient Processes in Power Supply Systems.” The lectures addressed current methods of analyzing and modeling transient processes in modern power systems, as well as ways to improve the reliability and efficiency of power supply networks.

The lectures delivered by foreign professors expanded students’ professional competencies, deepened their theoretical and practical knowledge in the fields of electrical engineering and automation, and contributed to the enhancement of their engineering training quality. Such events strengthen international cooperation between universities, promote the exchange of scientific and pedagogical experience, and support the professional development of future engineers.

Students highly appreciated the professors’ professionalism, the relevance of the topics, and the practical orientation of the materials, expressing strong interest in further participation in academic mobility programs.
