An open practical session was held on the topic “Hypertext and Web Pages” as part of the course “Fundamentals of HTML and CSS.” The main goal of the session was to teach students how to create hypertext links using HTML and to develop their skills in working with web pages.
In the introductory part of the session, the Wordwall platform was used to review previously studied material and clarify knowledge. With the help of this platform, students answered quiz-format questions, which allowed them to assess their level of preparedness. This approach increased student engagement and sparked interest in the learning process.
During the practical part of the session, students used basic HTML elements to work with hyperlinks on web pages. They created their own web pages using internal and external links, thereby reinforcing theoretical knowledge through practice.
At the end of the session, the Educaplay online platform was used to assess the acquired knowledge. Students were offered test assignments via a special link, and the results were automatically evaluated. Upon completion of the test, the screen displayed the final results, including analytical and statistical data on performance.
In conclusion, it can be noted that the use of modern online platforms such as Wordwall and Educaplay contributed to conducting the session in an interactive, engaging, and effective format. Such methods increase students’ cognitive activity and help develop practical skills.
