On May 24-25, 2025, a 4th-year student of the educational program “Physical Training and Sports” of the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University Milana Vlasenko and a 3rd-year student Madina Alimanova participated in the XIII Summer Universiade among universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which is taking place in Turkestan, and showed excellent results, winning silver medals in their weight category in karate kata (WKF) among women. In the overall standings of the teams in karate-do, WKITU won the 3rd place.
