On January 30, 2025, a working meeting was held between the West Kazakhstan University of Innovation and Technology and Tambov State Technical University.

The meeting was attended by Director of the Institute of Industrial Technologies Bilashev B.A., Head of the Department of Energy, Automation and Computer Engineering Utesheva G.Sh., Deputy Head of the Department Buranova N.G., as well as senior lecturer of the Department of Transport and Technology Kiyasova G.M..

Tambov State Technical University was represented by Elena Mishchenko, Vice-Rector for International Affairs, Larisa Mikheeva, Head of the International Relations Department, Olga Mishailova, Head of the Academic Mobility Department, Oleg Belousov, Director of the Institute of Energy, Instrumentation and Radio Electronics, Alexey Kagdin, Associate Professor of the Department of Electric Power Engineering, and Anastasia Terekhova, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Electric Power Engineering.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of a joint educational program in the field of Electric power engineering, as well as prospects for cooperation in the field of professional retraining and advanced training. Key educational issues were considered, including international academic mobility programs, lecture courses and joint participation in scientific conferences with the possibility of publication in leading scientific journals in Kazakhstan and Russia.

Special attention was paid to the issues of academic exchange of students and teachers, as well as the implementation of joint research projects aimed at the development of innovative technologies in the field of electric power industry.
