December 1 is World AIDS Day. As part of this event, on November 26, 2024, senior lecturer of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology Nurmukanbetova V.E. organized a round table on the topic “Save Yourself for Life!” for students of educational programs 6B01101-Pedagogy and Psychology, 6B03101-Psychology, 6B01201-Preschool Education and Upbringing in accordance with the educational work plan of the institute. The event was attended by specialists of the Youth Center: epidemiologist Dzhangalieva Zhadyra Almabekovna, psychologist Iskakova Aigerim Suinzhanovna and medical worker Suttibaev Taiman Sarievich. They provided information on all aspects of HIV/AIDS, talked about measures to raise global awareness, intensify society’s efforts to combat the epidemic, and support prevention and education programs on the spread of HIV/AIDS. During the event, special videos and presentations were shown, and students exchanged views. Information materials and leaflets were also distributed to the participants.
