On 28th of September the faculty of languages and management held the event devoted to solemn closing of the International specialized exhibition “EXPO-2017”. Volunteers from our university who worked at this forum took part in it.
The meeting was opened by WKITU vice – rector of educational work, the master A.I. Abekeshev. He told about the role and value of the EXPO-2017, thanked the students, who worked at the exhibition as volunteers. Then the winner of the city volunteers’ review “Let’s create good!”, student’s club “Dostyk” chairman K. Rakhimov addressed the meeting. He stopped on the features of the volunteer movement and encouraged the 1-2 year students to join the work in this direction.
The main part of the event was made by performances of volunteers who shared their impressions about the “EXPO-2017” work, answered numerous questions of freshmen. At the end of the meeting, students watched the video about the exhibition in Astana and performed a hymn of volunteers.
