Head of the Administrative Department of the Department of Economic Investigations in the West Kazakhstan Region Bisembayeva Ayagoz Tanyrbergenovna and the chief criminologist of the criminalistics Department of the Department of Investigations in the West Kazakhstan region, Major of the Environmental Investigation Service Kolganatov Armat Kaidargalievich, held a meeting on December 8, 2023 at the West Kazakhstan Innovative Technological University with graduate students of the higher educational institution of educational programs 6B06104 – “Computer engineering and information systems” and 6B04202 – “Jurisprudence” on the topic “Types of economic crimes and the procedure for detecting and investigating economic crimes in the Republic of Kazakhstan”.

Representatives of the Department told the students about the types of economic crimes, crimes committed with the use of IT technologies, concepts of computer crimes and their classification, the procedure for detection and investigation. Information was also provided on the investigation of financial pyramids, crimes involving bank cards and cell phones.

Further, the procedure for joining the Department of Economic Investigations, the procedure for selecting and completing an internship, evaluating personal qualities and passing an interview, and the benefits and benefits provided for by a civil servant were explained.

At the end of the meeting, which showed an active interest of students in the information provided on employment in the Department and on the disclosure of economic crimes, representatives of the Department were asked many questions, to which clear answers were received.
