On November 17, 2023, a literary salon “Abai and Pushkin – the consonance of two hearts” was held at the Department of Foreign Languages and Translation Studies. The purpose of the event: to introduce students to the cultural heritage of the Kazakh and Russian peoples, to instill interest in the works of outstanding poets Abai Kunanbayev and Pushkin A.S.

At the event, students read poems by two great poets about the Motherland, about the beauty of their native nature, about friendship, about love. The songs of the great Abai “Kozimnin karasy”, “Zhelsiz tunde zharyk ai” and others were sung. Students read words of edification and talked about well-known facts of the life of the great poet Abai Kunanbayev. A quiz was held on the works of two great poets. The event was attended by students from the following groups: RYAL-211, PIMNO-211,111, IYA-111, PD-111, KDR-111, Ec-111, KYAL-211,111.
