As part of educational work, on the 12th of October, 2023, senior teachers of the department of general education disciplines Isagulova T.R., Sultangalieva A.A. organized a visit to the S. Gumarov museum with first-year students in the educational program 6B07301 “Architecture”. As you know, the museum was opened in 1995 in his art workshop.
Saken Gumarov was born in Bukeevshchina (now Bukeyordina district) of the West Kazakhstan region. Since childhood, he painted the steppe, the free lines of felt carpets (tekemets). Saken Gumarov is a member of the Union of Journalists of the USSR, a member of the Union of Artists of Kazakhstan. He was engaged in painting for 30 years. “I have been painting since I can remember, working only in oil. He did not limit himself to genres, themes, and also did not focus on national, class, social and racial differences. The influence of S. Gumarov’s paintings on the feelings of those who see them is multifaceted. The paintings of this artist carry a huge charge of optimism and provide the key to understanding the unity of the world.
The museum exhibits paintings from the artist’s private collection, personal belongings, and photographic documents, which aroused great interest from students.
