On October 11, 2023, students of the group YUR-31 of the Educational Program of Jurisprudence 6B04202 of the Branch Institute of Technology under the guidance of senior teachers of the department Tuleugalieva Zh. and Sarsenova A. in the operational-criminalistic department of the WKO Police Department conducted a practice-oriented lesson on the discipline “Criminalistics”.

The classes were conducted by the chief criminologist of the Department of Operational Criminalistics of the Police Department of the West Kazakhstan region, Lieutenant Colonel of the police Zhusupov Kosym and Deputy head of the Department of Operational Criminalistics of the Police Department of the West Kazakhstan region, police Major Mukhamedyarov Kazbek. The topic of the lesson: “Forensic tracology”.

During the lesson, police Major Mukhamedyarov Kazbek revealed the essence of tracological research – the features of mechanical action on mating (contact) objects and how it happens, the study of traces associated with the side of formation systematizes traces into the following groups: static and dynamic; volumetric and surface; local and peripheral.

The chief criminologist of the Department of Operational Criminology of the Police Department, Lieutenant Colonel of the police Zhusupov Kosym, revealed practical knowledge on such issues as obtaining tracological traces. The students were shown a forensic kit and given a detailed description of tools and items for printing.

Future lawyers also got acquainted with current legal issues and asked questions about the practical work of the staff of the operational and forensic department.
