As part of the Science Week, on January 12, 2023, a scientific seminar “Innovations in the development of science within higher education” was held by the teaching staff of the Department of Oil and Gas Engineering of the Faculty of Engineering and Humanities of ZKITU with the aim of summarizing the results of the research work of the teaching staff for 2022.

Prospects for the development of scientific activity of teachers of the department for 2023 were discussed.  At the seminar, a report on the implementation of the research work of the teachers of the department as graduate students / applicants of the University of the Russian Federation – G.E.Kalesheva on the topic was listened to: “Geology, oil and gas potential and improvement of technology for the development of high-viscosity oil of the Karazhanbas field”; reports on the implementation of research on orders of organizations and enterprises for 2022 – scientific supervisor: ass.prof., Candidate of Technical Sciences. S.Z.Akhmetzhan – “Development of measures for cleaning and control of internal surfaces of tanks”; reports on the implementation of projects to the Committee of Science of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, etc. for participation in competitions for grant funding for scientific and scientific-technical projects for 2023-2026. scientific supervisor: ass.prof., Candidate of Technical Sciences.L.A.Churikova – “Formation of system efficiency of gas supply to consumers on the basis of natural, liquefied natural and liquefied hydrocarbon gases”
