February 25, 2021, the Department of “History and law” of the West Kazakhstan innovative-technological University as part of a series of lectures, devoted to 30-th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan

   Phys.N., Professor Sabyr M. B. gave a lecture “Drevnerusskie sources of creativity of Abay”. The lecture was held in the ZOOM format. The participants of the online lecture were about 100 listeners.

   The main purpose of the lecture is to study and promote the great heritage of the Kazakh people in the person of the educator Abay Kunanbayev. Disclosure of the main ideas of A. Kunanbayev in the education, training and development of the young generation. The lecturer emphasized that one of the sources of the formation of Abai Kunanbayev as a poet and thinker is the written monuments of the Middle Jurassic period (X-X centuries). This thesis was confirmed by the lecturer on the basis of the analysis of the Turkic sources.
