The Department of Humanities and Legal Disciplines of Engineering and Humanities Faculty organized and held a round table on the theme: “Independent Kazakhstan: history and modernity”, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The round table was moderated by Zhulamanov S.S., Master, senior lecturer at the Department of Humanities and Legal Disciplines, stressing that the Independence Day of Kazakhstan is the main solemn day in the life of the country’s civil society. December 16^th is the holiday of freedom of our state. Independence of Kazakhstan is the recognition of the right of Kazakhstanis to national self-determination. The purpose of the round table is to acquaint students with the struggle of Kazakhstan for Independence, the successes that Kazakhstan has achieved over the years of independence. Scientific reports were made by students-members of the scientific circles “Atameken”, “Zhas criminalist”: Karimullina A., group UR-11 “Tauelsizdigimizdin bergen zhetistіkterі” “Scientific supervisor Zhulamanov S.S., Uzakbaev S.” December events in Almaty “group EL-22, scientific supervisor Sultangalieva A.A., Khoroshkina E. with a report on the theme: “Functioning of the English language in the educational space of Kazakhstan”, Kardashova T., group UR-12 “My Independent Kazakhstan” scientific supervisor Kurmanova Zh.B. At the end of the event, the students were handed certificates of the participants of the round table and wished them successful passing of the examination session.
