Modern employers are in need of qualified, competitive specialists who are fluent in their profession, able to quickly adapt to changes in the production process. In this regard, the educational process should be aimed at practice-oriented learning.

On September 28, 2022, students of the 2.3 course of the educational program 6b11201-“life safety and environmental protection” of the Faculty of Engineering and Humanities of WKITU visited the Operational Rescue Squad, the fire Extinguishing and emergency rescue service of the Emergency Department of the WKO of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Uralsk).

The purpose of the excursion is to introduce students to the institution, increase their understanding, interest in their profession, and prepare for professional activity. The excursion was organized by the senior lecturer of the Department of “Veterinary and Technosphere safety” of WKITU Toleuova R.N.

The head of the water rescue service of the Emergency Department of the WKO of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan Eremeevym A.V. and the chief rescuer Aitkalievb.B. conducted emergency and emergency work, water rescue and diving search work, also conducted preventive explanations of the work of emergency personnel among the population, aimed at preventing natural and man-made emergencies, including on reservoirs.

The specialists explained in detail to the students that in emergency situations of a technogenic nature, pre-medical medical care is provided to the victims. Eremeev A.V. noted that the activity of this industry is responsible and high-quality education can be achieved only by supplementing theoretical knowledge with practical work.
