On October 10, 2024, students of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd courses of the educational program 6B11201 – “Life safety and environmental protection” of IOT ZKITU visited the Ural Transformer Plant. The purpose of the tour is to introduce students to the enterprise, increase their understanding and interest in their profession. The tour was organized by senior teachers of the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Technosphere Safety Amirgalieva A.M., Toleuova R.N.

The students were familiarized with the safety rules at work, the master of the site Makymov Anuar Kaysaruly familiarized with the history of the enterprise, equipment of the latest generation of European brands, types of products, including types of transformers. They also talked about the importance of the work of safety engineers, what responsibilities are included in their work, talked about fire safety, personal protective equipment, collective protection equipment. The students learned how transformers are made and how an employee should work in compliance with safety regulations.

Preventive explanations of the work of emergency personnel among the population aimed at preventing natural and man-made emergencies were also carried out. The students asked their questions and left a very good impression.
