On April 23, 2026, a student scientific conference on the topic “Innovations and Scientific Research in Ensuring Safety and Quality of Life” was held at the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Technosphere Safety.

The aim of the conference was to increase students’ interest in research activities, discuss modern scientific achievements, and exchange innovative ideas in the field of ensuring safety and quality of life.

During the conference, 17 presentations were delivered in the areas of veterinary medicine, food safety, ecology, and technosphere safety. The reports addressed issues such as increasing the productivity of cattle, ensuring the quality and safety of meat and dairy products, monitoring brucellosis, fire safety at industrial facilities, waste management, environmental toxicology, green chemistry, and environmental protection.

In addition, students covered relevant topics including veterinary and sanitary expertise, extending the shelf life of dairy products, the production of functional and lactose-free products, and the quality of halal products. Within the framework of technosphere safety, the effectiveness of personal protective equipment, the environmental impact of different types of transport, and issues related to industrial waste were discussed.

Each participant presented the results of their research work and, based on the guidance of their scientific supervisors, proposed solutions to current issues. The presentations were informative, met modern requirements, and were distinguished by their practical significance. The event had a positive impact on the development of students’ scientific potential, the exchange of experience, and the formation of skills necessary for their future professional activities.
