On January 12, 2023, the Department of Architecture and Construction organized a planned scientific seminar based on the results of the 1st semester of the 2022-2023 academic year. The purpose of this event is monitoring and stages of development of the research work of the department to date. The main direction of the scientific research of the department is the improvement of the technology of production of ceramic products based on various slurries and the design of energy–saving facilities with the use of thermal insulation materials. In the reports of teaching staff and research supervisors of projects within the framework of grant funding of the Committee of Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the implementation of projects on a contractual basis is 95%. The teaching staff also presented research methods on initiative topics.
