On February 21, 2022, the Department of Natural Sciences organized a discussion on the topic “Actual problems of the development of mass sports in the Republic of Kazakhstan and neighboring countries”. The discussion was attended by scientists from foreign and domestic universities. During the discussion, the following scientists made presentations:

  • Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor of the Dnepropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs. (Dnepr, Ukraine), on the topic: Pilates as a holistic method for improving the physical qualities and health of a person, regardless of age and gender;
  • Timchenko Viktor Vladimirovich – candidate of pedagogical sciences, associate professor of St. Petersburg State University. A. I. Herzen. (St. Petersburg, Russia), on the topic: “Risks in sports”;
  • Shepetyuk Mikhail Nikolaevich – Ph.D., Professor of the Kazakh Academy of Sports and Tourism. (Almaty, Kazakhstan), on the topic: “Modern approaches to the organization of mass sports in the Republic of Kazakhstan”;
  • SobyaninFedorIvanovich – Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor. Belgorod State National Research University. (Belgorod, Russia), on the topic: “Application of national cultural traditions in physical education classes in Iraqi schools”;
  • Melnikov Vladimir Leonidovich – candidate of biological sciences, associate professor. West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technology University. (Uralsk, Kazakhstan) on the topic “Mass sports in Kazakhstan: sensation and reality”.

The discussion addressed issues, problems of personnel training in the field of mass sports, economic methods of regulation in the field of physical culture and sports, legal aspects of sports management.
