On April 8, 2024, at the Institute of Education and Management of WKITU, with the participation of specialist theologians from the Department of Religious affairs for the West Kazakhstan region, a lecture was held on the topic “Prevention of religious extremism and terrorism.”

The purpose of the lecture is to inform students on religious issues, to avoid the risk of joining religious organizations due to illiteracy and to conduct awareness-raising work about the dangers of negative religious movements. During the meeting, theological specialists Safiullin Zhansultan Talgatuly, Abduvalinov Dastan Omiruly spoke about the special threat of extremism and terrorism to peace and security of states and society, called on young people to avoid alien currents, encourage young people to be humane, conscious citizens, to devote all their strength and time education and science. In case of questions on the topic of religion, recommendations were given to search for reliable information on the official websites of the religious administration of Muslims of Kazakhstan.
