As part of the quality week, on November 7, in the KYAL-311 group in the discipline “History of Kazakh linguistics of the early twentieth century”, a lecture was held by the lecturer of the department “Philology, culture and teaching methods”, Candidate of Philology, associate professor Kairov A.B. on the topic “Telzhan Shonanov on the problem of Kazakh writing and alphabet.” During the lecture, interesting facts and new information about the Arabic and Latin alphabets were announced.

On November 9, for 3-rd year students of the educational program “Cultural and leisure work” in the discipline “Methodology of organizing children’s creativity”, senior instructor of the department “Philology, culture and teaching methods” Abuova A.S. held a lecture on the topic “Formation of creative abilities of children”. The lesson demonstrated methods and techniques used in nurturing children’s creative abilities.

On November 7, in the MUZ-311 group in the discipline “Basic musical instrument,” an open study was held by the senior teacher of the department “Philology, culture and teaching methods” Tulegenov K.T. on the topic “The formation and development of the school of traditional Western song.” Artist of the Regional Philharmonic after G. Kurmangaliyev, owner of the “Yeren Yenbegi Ushin” medal, cultural figure of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sagadat Rakhmetzhanov participated in the study as a special guest and shared the history of the origin of G. Kurmangaliyev’s songs.

During the study, students were provided with detailed information about traditional song schools, and new information about the formation and development of the Western traditional song school was presented.

On November 10, in the KYAL-311 group in the discipline “Lexicology and phraseology of the modern Kazakh language”, the teacher of the department “Philology, culture and teaching methods”, Candidate of Philology, associate professor Bekmasheva A.N. held a seminar session on the topic “Stylistic layers of vocabulary of the Kazakh language.”

During the study students identified the types of lexical units in the Kazakh language related to stylistic layers, their meaning, purpose of use in the language, gave examples and arguments.

On November 10, an open study was held for students of the EP “Pedagogy and Methods of primary education” in the discipline “Technology of innovative and interactive teaching at primary school” by the senior instructor of the department of “Philology, Culture and Teaching Methods”, practitioner, teacher-researcher of the school-gymnasium No. 34 named after  A.Taimanov Lukpanova L.S. on the topic “Methods of interactive learning.” During the study along with the methods used to build relationships with primary school students, group, paired, individual forms of work used on the basis of the lesson, assessment forms and new teaching methods through the wordwall and Plickers programs were discussed.
