From February 16 to 19, 2026, an Olympiad under the Educational Program 6B07301 – “Architecture” was held at the Department of Architecture and Construction of the Institute of Sectoral Technologies at West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technological University.

The Olympiad was organized in two rounds and covered the disciplines “Architectural Design” and “Fundamentals of Architectural Composition.” Third- and fourth-year students took part in the event, demonstrating a high level of theoretical knowledge, professional competencies, and creative thinking.

The Olympiad aims to develop students’ design skills, identify the most prepared and motivated participants, and enhance the overall quality of professional training for future architects.
