On 31.01.24, as part of the active scientific activity of the university, a scientific and methodological seminar was held on the methodology of scientific research. The event brought together many teachers and scientists who want to expand their knowledge about the process of conducting scientific research.

The purpose of the seminar was aimed at developing and improving professional skills and knowledge in the field of scientific knowledge necessary for the successful conduct of scientific research, obtaining the necessary research competencies to improve the quality of scientific work and improve academic viability.

The seminar began with a welcoming speech by M.A. Cherkesov, Senior lecturer at the Department of Law, who stressed the importance of methodology for successful scientific research. Then, experts in the field of science from among the university staff and invited specialists spoke, who, based on their many years of experience, shared their own recommendations and tips related to the development and use of a methodological approach.

The main part of the seminar included several sections focusing on various aspects of scientific research methodology. The teachers were presented with examples of scientific research from different fields to demonstrate the diversity of their methodological approaches. The basic principles of hypothesis formulation, methods of data collection, analysis and interpretation were also considered.

The seminar also provided participants with an opportunity to familiarize themselves with modern research methods, including the use of information technology and statistical tools. Various software tools and databases were presented, which can greatly facilitate the conduct of scientific research and increase their reliability.

The seminar ended with a discussion of the questions asked and an open discussion. The participants were able to share their thoughts, experiences and questions, which contributed to a fruitful exchange of ideas and a deeper understanding of the importance of scientific research methodology.

In general, the seminar on the methodology of scientific research was a very useful and informative event that allowed participants to expand their knowledge and skills in this field. He fully met the expectations of undergraduates and teachers, helping them to better navigate the process of scientific research and improving the quality of scientific work at the university.
