On December 10, a festive evening “Tauelsizdik – Mangilik eldin tyry”, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, was organized at the West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technological University. A video film about the history of the Independence of our country was shown at the evening, patriotic songs and poems were sounded.

At the holiday, the rector of the West Kazakhstan Innovation-Technological University, Doctor of Economics, Professor Gabdualieva Raushan Smadinovna made a welcoming speech, who presented a number of teachers with letters of gratitude.

The next part of the evening was the “Gathering of excellent students and activists” of the university, during which the best of the best were awarded by the vice-rector of the university in the following nominations: “For supporting the image of the university”, “Excellent student”, “Young scientist”, “Student of the year”, “For success In sports”. A total of about 50 students, including those who entered with high scores, who showed particular activity in the life of the university, received certificates giving a discount on tuition fees and letters of thanks with gifts.

The purpose of this event is to educate young people in patriotism, industriousness, increase their activity in socio-political, social, cultural life, support talented youth.
