On May 2, 2024, the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Technosphere Safety organized a guest lecture on the topic for students of the BD-32O group as part of the study of the discipline “Safety of Machinery and Technology”: “Fire safety of machinery and technology”, which was conducted by the Deputy director of the Polytechnic Institute for Educational and Methodological work of Zhangir Khan ZKATU, PhD Ibraev A.S. During the lecture, students got acquainted with the elements of active and passive safety of equipment, requirements and standards for providing it with fire-fighting equipment, features, methods and methods of extinguishing various types of fires, the design of modern fire-fighting equipment and fire extinguishers. At the end of the lecture, a video on this topic was shown. The lecture took place in the form of a dialogue with the students and aroused their genuine interest, as evidenced by the number of questions asked, to which the lecturer gave complete and reasoned answers.
