On October 19, 2023, the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Technosphere Safety of the Institute of Industrial Technologies of WKITU organized a guest lecture for students of the EP “Life Safety and Environmental Protection” on the topic “Occupational Health and Safety at Work” with the occupational health and safety inspector of Sicim S.P.A. LLP. oil and gas field “Karachaganak”, M.E. Dusanaliev – a graduate of this EP WKITU.

During the lecture, issues of monitoring compliance with legislative and other regulatory legal acts in the field of labor protection were discussed; supervision of working conditions in the workplace; checking the condition of collective and individual protective equipment for workers; measures to stop work if violations are identified that threaten the life and health of workers or could lead to an accident, etc.

The lecture was interesting and informative. Students asked questions that interested them and received comprehensive answers.
