1. E. Sagirov, Senior Lecturer and postgraduate researcher at Michurinsk State Agrarian University, participated in the Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Scientists and Specialists entitled “Agroindustry 2026: Production, Management, Personnel Training, Modernization and Import Substitution,” held on September 10–11 in Michurinsk, Russia.

During the conference, A. E. Sagirov delivered a presentation entitled “Energy Supply for Technological Processes in Commercial Horticulture Based on the Principles of Tractor-Free Farming.” The presentation explored modern approaches to energy supply for technological processes in commercial horticulture.

The main focus of the presentation was the development of power units and functional working modules designed to reduce the dependence of commercial horticulture on conventional high-powered tractors. The research addressed the selection of machinery and technological equipment in accordance with the requirements of specific agricultural operations, the coordination of their functional capabilities, and the development of configurations required to perform the relevant technological processes.

The scientific and practical conference brought together representatives of higher education institutions, research organizations, and specialists from the agro-industrial sector. The discussions covered agricultural digitalization, process automation, resource conservation, the modernization of machinery and equipment, and import substitution.

Following the conference, A. E. Sagirov’s research presentation received high recognition and was awarded first place.

This achievement highlights the relevance of his research and its scientific and practical significance for the mechanization and energy supply of commercial horticulture.

Participation in the conference provided A. E. Sagirov with an opportunity to exchange research experience, explore emerging trends in modern agricultural engineering technologies, and develop professional scientific contacts. The results obtained will provide a foundation for further development of his dissertation research and for improving functional-modular machinery and technology systems for commercial horticulture.
