On October 24, 2025, a student scientific conference, “Economics for Non-Economic Educational Programs,” was held at the WKITU Institute of Education and Management. The event was organized by the Department of Finance and Economics for the programs “Psychology”, “Translation Studies”, “Law Enforcement”, and “Physical Education and Sports.”

The goal of the conference was to deepen students’ knowledge in economics, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship. Eighteen informative student papers were presented in Kazakh, Russian, and English.

The conference was divided into two thematic sections: the role of English in economic activity (moderated by Candidate of Economics, assoc. prof. Kurmanova G.K.), and the relationship between economics and psychology in research (moderated by Candidate of Economics, assoc. prof. Sukhanberdina B.B.).

Holding a conference of this format allowed students to feel part of a unified scientific community and discuss current topics in interdisciplinary fields, at the intersection of economics and psychology, and English as the language of international trade and finance.
