A delegation of teaching staff of the Faculty of Engineering and Humanities of the ZKITU, consisting of Samal Akhmetzhan, Larisa Churikova, Gulzada Kiyasova, paid an official visit to Gagarin State Technical University from October 19 to 21, 2022. The event was held within the framework of the agreement on cooperation in science and education.
During the official meeting at the level of the Department of International Communications, represented by the head of the Department Evgenia Tokareva and our delegation from WKITU, the current problems and issues of further mutually beneficial cooperation between our universities were discussed. Also, during the business meetings of our delegation with colleagues from Saratov State Technical University, issues of the academic mobility program were discussed, in particular, the organization of short-term internships for students and teachers, the implementation of various joint activities, including the expansion of partnership on joint research projects and educational programs, issues of cooperation on dual-use programs were also discussed. diploma.
“Currently, we are open for partnership with universities of Kazakhstan and the visit of representatives of WKITU is a significant event for the university. It is very valuable to discuss with foreign colleagues all aspects of mutual academic mobility and other opportunities for international cooperation,” said Evgenia Tokareva.
The main purpose of the visit of the delegation of teachers of ZKITU is to conduct negotiations on further creative cooperation of the Department of Transport and Technology of ZKITU with the Department of Organization of Transportation, Traffic Safety and Car Service of the Institute of Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science and Transport of the Polytechnic University, as well as the Department of Oil and Gas Business of ZKITU with the Department of Heat and Gas Supply and Oil and Gas Business of the Institute of Urban Studies, architecture and construction of SSTU.
As a result of the work carried out by our delegation, the following results were achieved: – within the framework of cooperation of the Department of “Oil and Gas Business” of ZKITU (Head of the department Samal Akhmetzhan) with the Department of “Heat and Gas Supply and Oil and Gas Business” of SSTU, head of the department Natalia Osipova, together with colleagues, a program of creative cooperation on the implementation of research, testing of results, participation in competitions for grant financing of projects, academic mobility of students and teachers;
– within the framework of cooperation of the Department of “Transport and Technology” of ZKITU (Head of the Department Akylbek Omarov) with the Department of “Organization of Transportation, traffic Safety and car service” of SSTU, Head of the Department Sergey Gusev, academic mobility, organization of internships and joint scientific work is planned.
Our delegation represented by the head of the Department of “Oil and Gas Business” of the Faculty of Engineering and Humanities Akhmetzhan Samal Zakikyzy expressed readiness to develop further cooperation, which provides, among other things, the creation of joint educational programs and projects.
