On April 26, 2019, the III Republican Subject Olympiad in the disciplines of “Economic Theory”, “Microeconomics”, and “Macroeconomics” (Kazakh and Russian languages) was organized by the School of Law and Social Sciences of the NARHOZ University in Almaty.

More than 180 students from 22 universities of Kazakhstan competed in the subject Olympiad. The West Kazakhstan Innovative – Technological University presented: on the subject “Economic theory” – a 2nd year student of the specialty 5B050900 – “Finance” Sisenbay Arai, a research advisor – a senior lecturer of the department “Finance”, Master of Economics, Mashanova S.A., Dauletova Akerke – 2-nd year student 5В050900 -” Finance ” and 1st year student Makhsetova Ainura, supervisor, senior lecturer, Master of Economics Aitmukanova G.M.

The subject Olympiad was held in 4 rounds: I round – in the form of testing; II and III round – tasks, IV round – report.

Our students were able to show good results on theoretical and practical problems.

According to the results of all rounds of the discipline “Microeconomics” Makhsetova Ainura – a student of the 1st course of the specialty 5В050900 – “Finance”, gaining high points, took 3rd place and was awarded a diploma.

Students Sisenbai Arai and Dauletova Akerke were awarded certificates for participation in the III Republican subject Olympiad in the subjects of “Microeconomics” and “Economic Theory”. For the preparation of students for the Olympiads, senior lecturers Mashanova S.А. and Aitmukanova G.М. received letters of thanks.
