On the 7th of December, 2018, the Department of Oil and Gas engineering and industrial technologies held an open curatorial hour with students by speciality in «Cadastre», «Land Management», «Oil and Gas engineering», «Technological Machines and Equipment», «Chemical Technology of Organic Substances», «Electric Power Engineering», timed to the day of the fight against AIDS on the theme: “AIDS is the plague of the XXI century”.
The curatorial hour purpose is to explain to students that AIDS (Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome) is one of the most important and global problems that have arisen before all of humanity. Explaining and informing about AIDS, about the harmful effects of human life, raising their sense of consciousness and establishing civic responsibility for a healthy lifestyle.
Teachers of the department took an active part in organizing the curatorial hour: Ikhsanova S.A., Begaydarova K.D, Kalesheva G.E., Zhubanshev B.U., Amanova B.N., Gubaydullin K.Zh., Begaydarova K.D.
At the curatorial hour of the Bolashak team, students of the ZU-21 and Densaulyk group of students of the ChT-31 group showed incision, answered questions concerning a healthy lifestyle, harmful habits, abuse of bad habits. Within the framework of the event, an exhibition of brochures was organized, informing the students about reading the verses, as well as the presentations and the video “Nastya’s Diary”.
At this event, students Tilekabylov Nurtileu, Maratov Eralkhan (group ZU-21), Berdybaeva Bekzada (group KD-31), Erkinbekova Sagynysh, Baibozova Asem (group ChT-31), Sadykova Takhmina (group ND-22) took an active part.
Summing up the curatorial hour, we would like to say that the foundation of education must begin with the younger generation, who are the brightest of the country, i.e. at home, parents, in the university teachers must show the correct path to a healthy lifestyle.
As the saying goes, “The disease is easier to prevent than to cure!”.
