According to the results of the 2021 rating conducted by the NCE RK “Atameken”, the educational program “6B11201 – Life safety and environmental Protection” of the Department of Ecology and Biotechnology of the Faculty of Engineering and Humanities of ZKITU was recognized as the best and took 1st place among 23 universities of Kazakhstan conducting training in this specialty.

87% of graduates of the educational program “6B11201- Life safety and environmental protection” get a job in their specialty. Graduates are looking for a job for an average of 2.7 months, which is a good indicator confirming their demand in the labor market.

The rating of university specialties, conducted annually by NCE RK “Atameken”, takes into account such important criteria for training personnel as the quality of educational programs, their compliance with the needs of employers, student achievements, employment of graduates, material and technical base for training students.

In the first half of the rating there are also such educational programs of the Faculty of Engineering and Humanities as 6B09102-Veterinary sanitation, 6B07501-Standardization and certification, 6B05201-Ecology, 6B07201-Oil and Gas business, 6B07302-Construction, 6B07102-Electric power industry.

The teaching staff of the Faculty of Engineering and Humanities is constantly working on improving its educational programs, improving the quality of education.
