There are many scientists at the West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technology University who have devoted their lives to the path of science. One of them is Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of “History and Law” Abdrakhmanova Raisa Lesovna.

Raisa Lesovna is a scientist who works on the development of national historical science, studies on the basis of archival data the history of education in Kazakhstan, especially the history of the creation and formation of educational institutions in the Western region.

One of the directions studied by R.L. Abdrakhmanova in historical science is historical education. She was one of the first to investigate the regional aspect of the history of education as one of the directions of national history. Abdrakhmanova R.L. continues scientific research and achieves significant success. As a result of scientific research, the monograph “Public education of Western Kazakhstan: formation, development, contradiction (1841-1941)” was published, he is the author of more than 100 scientific articles.

Also engaged in teaching activities, shares knowledge with students and undergraduates. This is evidenced by several PhD theses defended under the scientific supervision of Raisa Lesovna.

Thanks to his fruitful work, the scientist became the winner of the award “Honorary Worker of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan”.

R.L. Abdrakhmanova is known as the author of the country’s first interactive collective work “History of the city of Uralsk”, prepared in 2021 by order of the Akimat of the city of Uralsk.
