On October 19, 2026, Baitlessov E.U., Doctor of Veterinary Sciences and Professor at the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Food Technology of the Institute of Industrial Technologies at West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technological University, together with second year master’s students Stramousov M. and Shchelkunova E. participated in a professional educational seminar entitled «Biological Functions of Interferons».

The seminar, organized by Belagrogen with the support of the veterinary company ZooDoctor, provided a platform for professional knowledge exchange and discussion of current trends in the development of modern veterinary medicine.

Interferons and their biological functions are of considerable interest in veterinary science due to their role in immune system activity and the body’s defense responses. Studying these mechanisms is essential for deepening knowledge of physiological and immunological processes and improving the professional training of veterinary specialists.

Participation in such events enables academic staff to learn about current scientific approaches, expand professional networks, and strengthen cooperation with representatives of the veterinary sector.
