As part of the Education Quality Week, the Department of “Foreign Languages and Translation Studies” held a master class in collaboration with teachers from Secondary School No. 42 on the topic “Active Reading Methods: How to Teach Understanding the Text.”
The purpose of the event was to familiarize teachers with effective techniques of active reading that contribute to the development of students’ skills in semantic perception and text analysis.
During the master class, participants were introduced to various methods and strategies for working with texts aimed at developing critical thinking, improving reading literacy, and fostering a conscious approach to reading. Teachers actively participated in practical activities, exchanged opinions, and shared their professional experiences.
The event was conducted in an interactive format, allowing participants to exchange experiences in applying modern technologies and reading strategies aimed at forming students’ critical and conscious attitudes toward texts.
