On November 12, 2025, within the framework of the Quality Week – 2025, the Department of Finance and Economics held a seminar on “Tax Control and Administration, Desk Audit.”

The seminar was conducted by:  Gulmira Galimzhanovna Kairekeshova — Chief Specialist of the Department of State Revenues for the city of Uralsk,

and Sholpan Disenbaevna Salimbayeva — Master of Economics, Head of the Department of Finance and Economics.

During the seminar, the speakers discussed key issues of tax administration, desk audits, and modern approaches to improving transparency and efficiency in Kazakhstan’s tax system.

Such events contribute to enhancing students’ financial literacy and strengthening the connection between theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the field of economics and finance.
