On November 11, 2025, the Department of Petroleum Engineering organized a guest online lecture for students and undergraduates of the educational programs 6B07201/6B07204 – “Oil and Gas Engineering” and 7M07201/7M07202 – “Oil and GasEngineering.”
The lecture was delivered by Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor of the Institute of Forensic and Construction Technical Expertise, R.B. Garibov, on the topic: “Monitoring the Technical Condition of Structural Constructions During Field Development.”
During the lecture, Professor Garibov provided a detailed overview of the assessment of the technical condition of building structures, foundations, and engineering facilities, and paid special attention to the design and operation of pipeline systems in the oil and gas industry.
Particular interest among the audience was aroused by practical examples from the professor’s professional experience related to monitoring and diagnostics of structures under field conditions.
The lecture was held at a high professional level, offering informative and relevant insights for students and undergraduates specializing in oil and gas disciplines.
