On November 10, 2025, as part of the “Quality Week 2025” methodological week, A.I. Abekeshev, Master of Environmental Sciences and senior lecturer in the Department of Physical Education and Informatics, held an open seminar-style study on “Environmental Safety and Sustainable Development of Urbanized Areas” for first-year students (Module: “Environmental Safety and Sustainable Development” (Fundamentals of Ecology, Life Safety, and Sustainable Development).

During the open study, students were shown slides and videos on the topics of “Implementation of Green Technologies,” “Use of Renewable Energy Sources,” and “Waste Recycling and Sorting.” Students were divided into groups, presented posters, and completed a group assessment.

At the end of the seminar, the instructor summarized and assessed the students’ work, which was prepared using the Kahoot platform.
