On November 8, 2025, the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Technosphere Safety organized a creative event for dormitory students titled “READx – The Book I Read”. The purpose of the event was to spark young people’s interest in reading, broaden their horizons, and strengthen their love for literature.
During the event, students Asylbekkyzy K., Tolybay D., Omarov S., Tulegen A., Turekhanova S., and Tynyshlyk S. presented reviews of the books they had read. They shared the content of the works, described the main characters and plot, and discussed the key ideas and distinctive features of each book. Participants also talked about their personal impressions and life lessons learned from the readings, which contributed to a lively exchange of opinions and the development of students’ creative and critical thinking skills.
Based on the results of the event, the best presenters were recognized and awarded letters of appreciation and memorable gifts as a sign of acknowledgment for their interest in reading and their ability to express their thoughts effectively to an audience.
The READx project not only served as a stimulus for developing students’ reading habits but also became an important platform for fostering communication culture, discussion, and self-expression. It turned into a significant educational and creative event that contributed to the personal and spiritual growth of the students.
