From October 9 to 12, 2025, the West Kazakhstan Regional Boxing Championship was held among young athletes born in 2008–2009. In the 60 kg weight category, Bekbolat Zangar, a first-year student of the “Physical Education and Sport” program at West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University, demonstrated outstanding performance, confidently surprised his opponents and won the 1st place. He won a ticket to the Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which will take place in Oskemen from November 16 to 23.

This remarkable victory is the result of the athlete’s hard work and determination. Great credit also goes to his skilled coach, A. Kabdolov, who has guided and supported Zangar on his path to success in sports.
