On April 26, teachers of the General Education Disciplines Department of the Institute of Industrial Technologies IsagulovaT.R., Sultangalieva A.A., Mametanova S.T. together with students from groups ARСH-11, ARCH-13, BZHD-11, ZK-12, AU-11, BZHD-12, STR-12 visited the House-Museum of M. Mametova. More than forty years ago, this memorial was opened in Uralsk – a House Museum in memory of the feat of the first woman of the East, awarded the high title of Hero of the Soviet Union.

This museum contains the personal belongings of Manshuk and her parents. Contact with the life story of a heroic countrywoman helps to understand how the young girl ended up at the front, why she showed fearlessness in a fierce battle with the enemy. The details of the bloody battle, where Manshuk fought bravely against the fascists and died far from her native land, are recreated by a diorama that students and teachers watched during the excursion. “The spectacle is unforgettable! It’s as if we witnessed firsthand the heroism and courage of our glorious countrywoman!” – this is the general impression of the participants of the excursion, which was timed to coincide with the approaching Great Victory Day.
