In order to exchange experience in teaching veterinary disciplines within the framework of the school of Pedagogical Excellence, the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Technosphere Safety of the Institute of Industrial Technologies of the ZKITU organized and held a round table with international participation on the topic “Innovative technologies in the organization of educational activities in the disciplines of the veterinary cycle”. The event was attended by teachers of the Ulyanovsk State Agrarian University named after P. A. Stolypin, Orenburg State Agrarian University, Krasnodar Zootechnical Scientific Center of Veterinary Medicine.

The participants of the round table with international participation presented interesting and informative reports on the use of innovative, interactive methods in classes in specialized disciplines of the educational programs “Veterinary Medicine”, “Veterinary Medicine”: the use of IT technologies, a modern simulator for artificial insemination of animals, the results of scientific research in the educational process.

The discussion between the teachers of the partner universities led to a common opinion that it is necessary to use modern innovative teaching methods to increase the level of knowledge of students. Further cooperation between our universities will strengthen fruitful work in this direction.
