On October 31, 2023, Professor of the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Technosphere Safety of the Institute of Industrial Technologies of WKITU, Doctor of Biological Sciences Kanatbaev S.G. organized a guest lecture for students of the VET-31 OP “Veterinary Medicine” group, which was conducted by senior lecturer of Zhangir Khan ZKATU, Master of Veterinary Sciences Nurzhanova F.H. on the discipline “Veterinary Pharmacology” on the topic “Antibiotics”. During the lecture, detailed information was given about the general characteristics of antibiotics, the history of their creation, classification, application features, and importance in the fight against non-infectious and infectious diseases of various farm animals. In addition, it has been widely reported that antibiotics are widely used in the field of human health, as well as some permissible errors in their use. The lecture was very interesting and informative. On the part of the students, questions of interest to them were asked, to which exhaustive answers were received.
