On the 15th of February 2023, the Department of General Education Disciplines organized and held a guest lecture on the theme “Archaeological Sites of Western Kazakhstan.” Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor of the WKU named after M. Utemisov Sdykov Murat Nauryzgalievich spoke to the students. This event was attended by representatives of the teaching staff and students of the educational programs “Architecture,” “Oil and Gas Engineering,” “Electric Power Industry,” “Standardization, certification,” “Jurisprudence,” “Life Safety and Environmental Protection,” “Land Management and Cadastre.” The lecture was held at the highest scientific and methodological level and aroused interest among students. The desire was expressed in the future to hold such lectures more often.
