On October 12-14, the V International Congress of Archeology “Eurasian Steppe Civilization: Man and Historical and Cultural environment” was held in Turkestan. The congress was attended by leading scientists from 30 countries. Associate Professor of the Department of History and Law, Candidate of Historical Sciences M.D.Kalmenov took part with a report on the progress of archaeological work carried out in the Akmechet complex.
