Last year, Head of State Kassym-Zhomart Kemelevich Tokaev received Doctor of Political Sciences, Director of the Institute of Modern Studies of the Eurasian National University after L.N. Gumilyov Mukhit-Ardager Sydyknazarov and expressed his opinion about the scientist’s book “Continuous statehood of Kazakhstan in the flow of history. The Kazakh state on European and American maps of the 16th-19th centuries.” The work covers the period from 1562 to 1879 and clearly illustrates the key stages in the development of our statehood. In total, the work includes 130 cards. The head of state highly appreciated the scientist’s work and noted the need to organize special exhibitions in the regions of the country and abroad.

On March 27, 2024, a famous scientist is expected to visit the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University. As part of the visit, it is planned to participate in the opening ceremony of the cabinet of ancient maps “History of Kazakh statehood”, developed at the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University, and conduct an open lecture for faculty and students.

On March 28, 2024, the republican scientific and practical conference “History of Kazakh statehood – on ancient maps” will be held at the Atameken Arts Center within the framework of the instructions of the Head of State Kassym-Zhomart Kemelevich Tokaev, given at the III National Kurultai. At the conference with the participation of deputy kim of the West Kazakhstan region Narymbetov B.Kh. Presentations will be made by scientists of the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University, Candidate of Historical Sciences, professor Kurmanalin S.B., Candidate of Historical Sciences, professor Yernazarov Zh.T., PhD Doctor Kalmenov M.D.
