One of the important mechanisms for expanding the academic independence of higher education institutions is the development and annual updating of educational programs based on a competency-based approach in accordance with professional standards, taking into account the proposals of external and internal stakeholders and the needs of students.

On 11 april, at WKITU, at the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of the Faculty of Pedagogy, meetings of the Academic Committee were held to discuss educational programs “Preschool education and upbringing”, “Pedagogy and psychology”, “Psychology” bachelor, “Pedagogy and psychology” magistracy for admission to 2023- 2024 academic year.

Employers, students, undergraduates, graduates, representatives of public organizations, professional associations participated in the discussion of the EP together with the teaching staff of the department, heads of structural divisions of the faculty: G.M.Galiyeva – head of the office of psychological and pedagogical correction in Uralsk, A.Z.Zhaksymbetova – KSU psychologist of the crisis center for victims of domestic violence, A.Zh. , A.B.Mukhangaliyeva – teacher-psychologist No. 38 of the school-lyceum named after A. Moldagulov, B.T. Abdulov – director of the nursery-kindergarten No. 10 “Balapan”, L.G. S. Kairlieva – nursery-kindergarten No. 22 “Kolobok” (graduate of the OP CED), S.Zh. Sarsenbaeva – child development center “LogoCA-Ya” (graduate of the OP PP)..

 During the meetings, the participants voiced their proposals for the development and updating of the EP, taking into account staffing, the provision of the educational program with information resources, logistics, provision with bases of practice, information support for the implementation of the EP, methodological support for the implementation of the EP.

Following the meeting and on the basis of the order of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 19, 2023 No. 21 “On Amendments to the State mandatory standards of higher and postgraduate education, approved by the Order of the Minister of NGOs of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 20, 2022 No. 2” the following changes were made to the educational programs of the 2023-2024 academic year:

* The educational program 7M01101 “Pedagogy and Psychology” (2 g) includes the discipline “Psychology of professional communication” in the cycle of PD VK in the amount of 4 credits.

* In the educational program 7M01101 “Pedagogy and Psychology” (1.5 g), the discipline “Cultural-historical and activity-based approaches in psychology and education” is included in the cycle of PD VK in the amount of 4 credits.

* In the educational program 6B03101 “Psychology”: -In the amount of 4 credits in the DB, KV cycle, a new discipline “Psychology of constructive communication” was introduced.

The following disciplines are excluded:

“Pedagogy” in the amount of 4 credits from the DB VK cycle, “Methods of teaching psychology” in the amount of 4 credits from the DB VK cycle, “Economic Psychology” in the amount of 3 credits from the PD cycle, VK “Theoretical problems of applied psychology” in the amount of 5 credits, “Labor Psychology” in the amount of 3 credits from the PD VK cycle, from the DB, VK cycle, the disciplines “Problems of studying the human psyche” in the amount of 4 credits are excluded, from the PD, VK cycle “Design and research activities in education” in the amount of 4 credits

* In the educational program 6B01101 – “Pedagogy and psychology”:

– new disciplines have been introduced

4 credits for the DB cycle, KV “Technologies in education/Distance education”.

4 credits “Introduction to the teaching profession \ Professional functions of a teacher in the digital space ” for the DB, VK cycle.

5 credits for the DB cycle, KV “Psychological service in the education system”.

4 credits “Psychology of constructive communication” for the DB cycle, KV.

5 credits of “Developmental Psychology” for the DB cycle, sq.

5 credits for the PD, KV cycle “Pedagogy and didactics of the digital age\pedagogical design of education”.

5 credits for the PD cycle, KV “Design and research activities in education”.

The following disciplines are excluded:

“Content and technology of updated education ” in the amount of 3 credits from the DB cycle, VK

“Psychological and pedagogical aspects of the activity of a teacher of a new format” in the amount of 5 credits from the DB cycle, KV

“Organization of psychological and pedagogical work of a social teacher ” in the amount of 5 credits from the DB cycle, KV

“Ethnopedagogy ” in the amount of 3 credits from the DB cycle, VK

“Development of foreign psychological science ” in the amount of 4 credits from the DB cycle, KV

“New technologies in education” in the amount of 5 credits from the CD cycle KV

“Pedagogical skills” in the amount of 4 credits from the PD cycle, KV

“Design and research activities in education” in the amount of 5 credits from the PD cycle, KV

* In the educational program 6B01201 “Preschool education and upbringing” :

– new disciplines have been introduced

4 credits for the DB cycle, KV “Fundamentals of childhood digitalization and cybersecurity”.

4 credits for the DB cycle, KV “Formation of socio-emotional skills of preschool children”.

4 credits for the DB cycle, KV “Method of sensory development of preschool children”.

4 credits for the DB cycle, KV “Development of cognitive and intellectual skills in preschool children”.

4 credits for the DB cycle, KV “Design of the kindergarten development center”.

4 credits for the DB cycle, KV “Design paths with robotics elements”.

5 credits for the DB cycle, KV “Monitoring the development of skills and abilities of preschoolers”.
