On January 20, 2025, the Department of Oil and Gas Engineering held a scientific seminar on the topic “Modern Challenges and Development Prospects of the Oil and Gas Industry.” The main objective of the seminar was to share the results of the department’s research activities and exchange professional experience.
During the seminar, information was presented on the research work being carried out by the department in accordance with the approved plan. In particular, research projects conducted under economic (contract-based) agreements, as well as studies carried out within initiative research topics, were discussed. Faculty members highlighted the achieved results in these areas and outlined future tasks.
In addition, doctoral students defended their research progress reports on their dissertation topics. During the presentations, the main results of the dissertation research, applied methodologies, and obtained scientific conclusions were presented, followed by comments and suggestions from the seminar participants.
The seminar was attended by faculty members of the department, doctoral students, master’s students, and the Head of the Science Department of the Institute of Sectoral Technologies.
