On January 16 2026 year, the Department of General Education Disciplines held a scientific seminar of the department “The Role and Importance of Social Sciences and Humanities in the Training of Technical Specialists.” The goal of the seminar was to demonstrate how social sciences and humanities develop comprehensive competencies in technical specialists (critical thinking, ethics, communication) necessary for solving complex, interdisciplinary problems, not just narrowly technical ones, integrating them into society, enhancing adaptability, creativity, and project management abilities in the modern world.
